There are only nine school days left in my first year of teaching, and I can't believe it! It has been a crazy and wonderful time- I hope I've helped all of my students to see and experience the joy in creating and that they've learned a bit about art. I can definitely say they have taught me a lot this year!
As we wrap up the year with a few final projects, I'll be sending home a lot of art work. Some projects may not be finished for various reasons (student absence, field trips, assemblies, etc) but I encourage students to use materials at home to try to finish their art! :) With one year under my belt, I've got a much better idea of how long projects can really take and will hopefully be sending fewer incomplete projects home next year.
